How does the Werner Simulators and CWM (Close Quarter Maneuvers) work out? I think it is great that they have that because it would help me out.
I couldn't answer that, they didn't habe the simulators at the terminal I went through orientation at. That particular terminal is pretty limited. They even had to send a bunch of us in a couple of rental cars to Dallas so we could get trainers.
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

Sorry for late reply been running my butt-off, home on my reset right now. CWM=CQM. Once a quarter Werner has their drivers perform SIM and CQMs. I know at Denver terminal they have a designated area in drop area that cones are setup on. Anytime you are in the yard you can practice all ya want, and/or Safety will have you do it.
Are you going OTR? Or dedicated?

OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
