Good work Reaper, keep it up!
Yay!!! Good going!!
The first two loads were 17k each so barely loaded. Any tips on hauling a full load of beef?
Very cool bro.
Keep it up!
Rick
You sound like your going to become a top tier trucker very soon!!! Hope you keep doing that well the entire time, great update!
Good job Reaper! Be safe.
Thanks guys my trainer just told me he is taking me back even earlier. After this 2 and a half day trip to alabama once the slaughter house decides to load our trailer (been waiting sonce we dropped it at the dock last night at 1830) he wants to make surebi learn the alley backing, parrelel parking, and memorize the pretrip before testing on friday. Im confident on everything except pretrip. I know the parts, the exact wording however is another story. I know one wrong word or a different word same meaning can fail you in airbrakes.
Glad things are going well for you on this new journey. I would suggest that you do "Get Out And Look" in the future to help keep it that way, especially on a 90 degree blind back. Oh my! You can hide a lot of things behind those trailers that you will never see in the mirrors.

Take heed Reaper...
That is the voice of experience speaking. It is funny, when I was a rookie I would be so proud of the fact that I didn't have to G.O.A.L.
Now I am more inclined to get out and look when it seems that I have no reason to.

Hey everyone. Sorry i wasnt able to do any training diaries or even any recent updates. Been swamped the second i got purple badged. Got my permit test with only 2 questions wrong put of all sections all thanks to you guys and the high road.
My trainer says im a born natural truck driver. Nailed both offset backings, the straight line back immediantly first try when he wanted to see how i wasfirst day. I drove 1200 out of the 1500 mile first dispatch. Only one issue at end of the run i almost rubbed a curb ehile turning in california. Second run i did completely myself from cali to colorado 1071 miles. Trucking is so much fun and so many things to see and be amazed at. He is bringing me back to springfield on day 13 to finish practicing differrnt backings he didnt teach me. Then to test on day 14.
My first two out on the road backings i nailed perfectly straight. One was a blind side 9p degree into a parking space, the other was a straight line. Both were accomplished with no get out and looks, or pull ups. They were both in the lines straight and no instruction was given.
