Im in the starting class Nov. 25. Anyone else going during that time? I am renting a car from Milwaukee airport for the drive to Marshfield. So far the process has been very nice and the spokeswomen i have been dealing with extremely nice and helpful. Havent figured out how im getting from hotel to class everyday but hopefully i can catch a ride from another student. worst case ill buy a bike for the 5 mile ride!!

anyways pretty pumped to begin!

Congrats Kenneth!

I'm not positive, but I think they will transport you from the hotel to the school.

Congrats Ken, You will be arriving right after I leave. They do have vans that shuttle some students in the phase 1 orientation. I can ask about it for you if you would like. I can't stress this point enough. BRING WARM CLOTHING!!!!! I brought what I thought was warm cloths and am now buying real winter cloths. It's cold up here and will probably be snowing by the time you get here. We got a taste of it yesterday. Nothing stuck, but it's coming from what the instructors say. Also the wind will cut right through you. The hotel is more like 10 miles from the hotel, and also there are no food sources close to the terminal. You have to go back across town for any food. You get 30 minutes for lunch. Best to pack a lunch and bring it with you. They put all of us on the same wing of the hotel, so finding a ride with someone shouldn't be too hard. If I can help with anything just holler. Food around the hotel is within walking distance and walmart superstore is just 2 blocks away.

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

OWI:

Operating While Intoxicated
