A driver code? I don't think so, yes they paid for my orientation and I just passed my test this past weekend.

Okay. If it were me I'd stick with it a couple of more days, but that's me. You passed on Saturday and today is Monday. Not that long.

Well,.. I'll put it to you a different way; might take two days to land another company, then you sit through another orientation.

When I started I had to wait three days for a mentor and endure another bus ride. You chose the company for a reason. Hopefully the DMV will update your status tomorrow and this will all be in the past.

Good luck!

Dm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

DMV:

Department of Motor Vehicles, Bureau of Motor Vehicles

The state agency that handles everything related to your driver's licences, including testing, issuance, transfers, and revocation.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

I'm with G Town on this one. It would be counterproductive to jump ship now. You could end up waiting all over again. Be patient and stay focused on the end game

Wise move. Once you start on your Trainers Truck, after a few weeks you will be longing for several days in a Motel room! Keep the shiny side up and "Watch your WAGON!"
