Welcome aboard the Prime Brigade!
Best of luck to ya, Dan!
Hahah its fine and thanks. So cool you'll be here!
I'm at the terminal taking a class and getting a new truck. I heard "don't I know you, aren't you Rainy" And turns out Christian is here on PSD. I feel like a celebrity since I was randomly recognized. Lol
I did add Patrick and Reaper to my dungeon as well lol. I'll post if I'm still here next week
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
Prime Inc has a CDL training program and the first phase is referred to as PSD. You'll get your permit and then 10,000 miles of on the road instruction.
Prime’s PSD begins with you obtaining your CDL permit. Then you’ll go on the road with a certified CDL instructor for no less than 75 hours of one-on-one behind the wheel training. After training, you’ll return to Prime’s corporate headquarters in Springfield, Missouri, for final CDL state testing and your CDL license.
Me Dan!
I'll be there too! Maybe we'll see each other!

Prime is a great place to learn. I know. I started there 3 yrs. Ago. Became an instructor/ trainer there.
Left there in September to another company and make more money.
I was dispatched out of SLC. I can't say anything bad about prime as a whole.
Best of luck to you.
Rainy thinks she is getting a new tractor. In reality she is getting a pickup truck and prime recruiter badge.

Prime Bound!
I'll be starting at Prime April 3'rd. Holy crap i have a ton to do between now and then! I want to thank everyone for being so honest and putting yourselves and experience out there for me to review and ponder as I thought threw this transition. I plan on keeping an open mind and learning as much as I can with a way positive attitude through training. I don't even plan on looking up until July. So many great articles to help me on my way here: What Causes People To Fail CDL School?
To add to my todo list: Preparing for Truck Driver Company Training - Things to Pack!
To Rainy D.
You really helped concrete my decision to go with Prime and I gave you referral credit although in hindsight I believe I gave a pen name /facepalm My heart was in the right place but i'm an idiot at times.
I’m scared to death but also excited! Thank you all and to Brett of course.
