and to figure out why my sirius wasn't working (loose wire).

Were you getting the "no signal" message ? I'm not leaving until they fix mine. I'm paying for the subscription, damn it. Lol

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

I was getting the "check antenna" notification on the radio. I asked the shop guy, he checked the connection on the back of the radio. It was fine. He then told me to look under the passenger side upper bunk light (pictured below) for another connection. That was the one, it was disconnected. I plugged it back together and it worked

The refrigerator on the top bunk. I haven't seen that yet but it's genius. My girlfriend will need more room for her museum of shoes. I hope not but I'm fearing that. Shoes and handbags not really required but who am I to say what a girl needs.

When I teamed, I kept my fridge on the top bunk. Heck we stored lots of stuff there. However, now.. gotta leave the top bunk useable.

I used to keep a Fridge on the upper bunk as well until I started training...

Note regarding the frig on top bunk. It is illegal to have a frig on top bunk if it is not secured. In the case of an accident the frig can become a deadly missile inside the truck so must have it strapped or secured in some fashion.

Easy, easy, easy DoT ticket for any officer willing to look inside your truck.

Good point I failed to mention. I definitely have it secured. 2 straps over the top and I even screwed little brackets into the back to attach another strap too. That sucker ain't gonna come visiting me in the cab
