You guys make me proud!
I know your success rests on your own shoulders, and if there's anything I want new drivers to learn it is just that. Great job fellas!
Turtle, That is great news. I am really happy you chose Prime. I never saw miles like that with "your other choice" in over 9 months. My best week ever was just over 3100. Keep up the good work!!!!
That's great miles for you and your navigator, Turtle!

Actually Tractor, it was partially one of your posts that made me switch to Prime. As you remember, I was all set to go to my other choice, but something you said triggered the switch. That and my very convincing and attentive recruiter.
To paraphrase, it was something along the lines of you being "underwhelmed" with the miles you were getting although you had a spotless driver rating.
To be fair, it's hard to compare the two companies, since I'm in flatbed over here. But still...
I'm definitely glad you're happy in your new gig though.
The other company is actively recruiting in its flatbed division. That said...
You made the right choice. LOL!

How long do you guys stay out? You'll be making some decent money with weeks like that
I plan to stay out 5-6 weeks at a time. That may vary every so often.
And yeah, I'm soooo glad I went with Prime.
Yeah hometime was the main reason I decided against prime, but if I was single I definitely would have.
All of these great stories involving prime - It's a pity they rejected me due to gaps in work history. It's like the forum is trying to rub it in. :P
Are you enjoying yourself, or is it a lot like work?
Hey Ryan don't give up. My husband applied with Jim Palmer first and was rejected we think due to spotty work history but when he applied at Prime they took him on. He's been very happy there even if it wasn't his first choice but he thinks he would have been happy over there too. Don't give up. Keep trying if you think it's what you want to do.

I gotta say, I totally didn't expect to be so busy right out of the gate. But I'm pleasantly surprised.
I did get a nice compliment from my FM , he said he likes my efficiency. Thats something.
Fm:
Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager
The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.
