Seminole Wind I congratulate you and wish you the best of wishes at this career! I am getting ready to go out with my mentor and I know exactly what you mean when you say excited, scared and happy all at the same time.

Just remember we are going to be on a emotional roller coaster for the first year and then the 2nd year it becomes more like a life style! I am excited for you and please make a training diary on here for us to follow. smile.gifgood-luck.gif

Congrats! I've been with Werner for a while now and was a trainer with them for a while, went back to driving solo though. They've been pretty good to me. If you work hard and did weekdays needed, you'll be successful, just keep a good attitude!.

You have to have a minimum of 6 months accident free driving plus have driven one complete winter. Then you have to complete and pass the Train the Trainer course.

My recommendation is to only do this if you have a real desire to teach others as well as have a lot of patience. It can be very rewarding but also very frustrating at times. You will have good students and then you will have students you wouldn't want to drive any vehicle let alone a big rig.
