I passed my CDL permit test and all of the endorsement tests today!!! I aced all of them except the Hazmat , and I only missed 3 on that one. The training on this site is what made that possible! Now, 3 weeks of road and backing training. After I pass the road, backing, and PTI test I will head to Alabama to start training at McElroy. Today has been a great day!! A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.
HAZMAT:
