Anne I have done something similiar. I hired my gf and my company doesn’t have team freight per se. We will run regional and we can use both clocks to run out, deliver, and get back for another. The majority of the regional stuff is just far enough a solo driver can’t turn them. Solo 3 loads a week. Team 1 a day. It works for us. Since the whole bug thing and civil unrest they have been running me up to mn because some drivers refuse to go there. She has been at home taking care of other stuff.
Regional:
Regional Route
Usually refers to a driver hauling freight within one particular region of the country. You might be in the "Southeast Regional Division" or "Midwest Regional". Regional route drivers often get home on the weekends which is one of the main appeals for this type of route.
