What Are A Truck Driver's Best Defense Against Possible Criminal Acts Against Them While On Duty?

Keith I am a rookie here of 4 yrs. I have been in some not so nice places on many occassions and I have never once encountered anything like you describe. You may want to take a serious look at your surroundings. Swift being on your door most likely has nothing to do with your problems. I would be willing to bet there is something in your behavior causing you issues. And I’d bet a vast amount of time when you park there are other swift trucks in the lot as well. Why do you seem to get singled out??? Just seems odd to me. And just another short point. I am retired law enforcement, I keep my quals up and can carry concealed, my company has no policy against it, our customers don’t care and yet I still leave my gun at home. Reason is because I don’t need it or the hassle if I did use it. After 30 yrs on the job I learned much more effective ways to deal with situations.
