Good for you Reaper. The "setup" is just as important as the actual backing maneuver. Seems like you are quickly learning that. Mastering the setup will make you an expert at backing, it will be easier.

So update. This morning after checking in by myself at the guard shack (trainer lovingly refers to it as the love shack)
I had to park in their waiting lot for my appointment. I turned a blindside back (not enough room to fully turn around and straighten out) Into a straight back. I one shotted the maneuver eith only a 3 foot pull up in the beginning to straighten out. No shaking cab, no massive wheel turna, not even waking my trainer at all! I am so happy and proud i was able to do it on my own without even waking the light sleeper in the berth right now lol.
