Ok, I just wanted to let everyone know that we've enhanced this a little bit.
Now, not only can individuals be moderated, but we can now put certain topics into moderation where every single comment that gets submitted will be reviewed first. So when we get these hot button topics, we'll moderate everything that gets said, including by our own moderators.
So if you suddenly start seeing "awaiting moderation" messages when you're not used to seeing them, it could be that you're responding to a topic we're moderating.
Moderating the moderators goes too far. Why use energy to approve of a proven moderator with many thousands of helpful posts just because the topic is a "hot" topic. Has his many thousands of posts not proof enough? Thats awful Brett.
BMI is a formula that uses weight and height to estimate body fat. For most people, BMI provides a reasonable estimate of body fat. The BMI's biggest weakness is that it doesn't consider individual factors such as bone or muscle mass. BMI may:
It's quite common, especially for men, to fall into the "overweight" category if you happen to be stronger than average. If you're pretty strong but in good shape then pay no attention.
It's actually because at the moment I don't want to make extra database lookups to verify different conditions, like who is posting to a certain topic. I may whitelist moderator comments for this, but for now I was instantly able implement this the way it is with minimum code. I just wanted to get that feature up and running for now and revisit it after I get a couple more features squared away.
The scary thought is the day Brett Moderates himself as well. Actually that would hilarious if he got an e-mail stating awaiting moderation. Then 1 of the mods had to approve his message.
Gotcha, makes sense.

Funny thing is, that's what we're doing most of the time. I've put myself into moderation so we can test the system and keep working with it.
Not only that, but we have a minimum time requirement of one post every two minutes. I can't even break that rule. Sometimes I have to sit here and wait for the time to pass to post another comment!
A message will pop up that says: "You can only post a comment every two minutes. Please wait a little while and try again" and I'm like, "oooh maaaan! These guys are strict! "
....and so I sit there......
and so I sit there
Happens to me all the time.
and so I sit thereHappens to me all the time.
I feel ya...

I don't doubt you for a second OS. When you participate in a controversial thread arguing with some stranger who will come and go, absolutely nothing comes between you and proving your point.
You will write him a book even if it takes you days. Getting your point across usually takes days.
That 2 minute rule has probably given you unspeakable amounts of grief!
If someone makes a mistake and gets on the naughty list. How do they get off of it?
