Way to go! Even now, after having a CDL in my wallet for twenty years, I will occasionally look at in wonder and say to myself: "Take good care of this and it will take care of you. Don't F up and you will always be able to have a good job."
CDL:
Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
- Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
- Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
- Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
- Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

I haven't been around a lot because I've been working full time while also going to school full time.
But yesterdayafternoon, I went to my appointment at the DMV and about 3 hours later, left with a shiny new CDL in my wallet!
