Any reason you don't want to drive for a medium to large company?
You will have to be someplace that has trucks pre 2000 if you are looking to avoid E-logs.
Not really intending on avoiding electronic logs just wanting to get a feel for a smaller company, that's not family owned (mine).
Electronic Logbook
A device which records the amount of time a vehicle has been driven. If the vehicle is not being driven, the operator will manually input whether or not he/she is on duty or not.
I know of a company thats fairly decent from what I've been told but their in Alabama, dunno if that helps you or not, but I know that their looking for CDL drivers, names Gamble or Gamble trucking, something like that, based as far as I know out of um... Mount Olive AL, only reason I don't go with them is because I want to do OTR and up into Canada and I want a larger company to work for.
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.

Hey there, was wondering if anyone knows of any smaller company that utilizes older trucks in their fleet. Trying to go back to company driving but not for a larger company. Looking for a smaller company that uses older trucks. Any ideas would be appreciated.
