I was wanting to know, what are the top 5 largest trucking companies right now? I was thinking it was:

1. Swift 2. J.B. Hunt 3. Schneider National 4. Werner Enterprises 5. I am not sure on 5.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

I was thinking drivers, fleet size, amount of freight, stability, etc.

Well knight is the largest now, after the purchase of swift. As for second I'm not sure.

Knight did not purchase Swift. It was a merger.

Not to be rude piano man, but merger or acquired (pOtAtO / pOtahtO) Knight Executives got the lion share of the new high executive positions. Call it a merger, acquisition, restructuring, etc... Knight came out on top in this one.
