Drove through a tornado warning area two days ago in Kansas. Light hail, high winds, buckets of rain, lightning. I was loaded so I went through most of it, stopped for a while when I got to flooded intersections and lots of police activity.
Coming up through the same exact area this afternoon, and got the same weather! This time I was chasing the storm instead of cutting through it, so I stopped for the night when I got real close. No need to test what 60-70 mph winds will do with an empty tanker.

Good call. Hit some high winds over on i40 through new Mexico the other day. Gave me hell and I had plenty of weight in the box. Thankfully most of the weather I have avoided all together or was delayed long enough to avoid it.

Keep an eye on the sky and radar if you find yourself out in Kansas and Oklahoma. A Tornado outbreak is possible and big hail will happen.
