Good luck!
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
Usually refers to a driver hauling freight within one particular region of the country. You might be in the "Southeast Regional Division" or "Midwest Regional". Regional route drivers often get home on the weekends which is one of the main appeals for this type of route.
Commercial trade, business, movement of goods or money, or transportation from one state to another, regulated by the Federal Department Of Transportation (DOT).
When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.
How much do you like NW Alabama, the 65 corridor up into Kentucky and 20 from Birmingham to Atlanta?
H.O. Wolding has a SE regional gig where you are put 5 and home 2 (roughly). Most of the freight comes out of or going into Cherokee, AL. Deliveries going to as far north as Louisville, KY, and east into Atlanta area. Basically your "stomping ground" will be central KY, Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia. With occasional runs into Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida.
If you have any questions I will be glad to answer them. H. O. Wolding is also approved for the military apprenticeship program.
