Hey guys, so a few months back I went through Prime Inc and got into PSD and after 2 weeks I ended up having a lot of family issues and my mom was diagnosed in Stage 3 and basically **** hit the fan, I voluntarily got off my trainers truck and grabbed a flight back to Salt Lake where I live and have since been out of commission.
Well apparently I got locked into contract and I thought I left within the timeframe but I messed up and was 2 days late, so a guy called and said hey what's up, pay the contract basically or you're re-hirable and we'd love to take you back, i got great feedback from the trainer and had 0 issues on the road, talked to the Driver manager my trainer was with and my trainer and he wants me back in his truck and the driver manager said he'd put in the approval for rehire and all looked well for me to restart so I can fulfill the contract.
Well I reapplied, recruiter said sweet let me submit a rehire poll and you should be good. Well I found out today that I'm ineligible for rehire, even though the guy pushing me about my contract says he's never looked at a driver profile with comments this good and I'm listed as re-hireable and under contract and his mind is blown.
Driver manager says it makes no sense and his mind is blown and is going to look into it. But I'm under contract why would they not not allow me to come back and drive even though the DM and the office guy say it says I'm able to? Apparently the recruiter says I need 6 months OTR then I can reapply. I asked for a copy of my contract to look at it but it makes no sense to me. Thoughts?
OTR:
Over The Road
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
BMI:
Body mass index (BMI)
BMI is a formula that uses weight and height to estimate body fat. For most people, BMI provides a reasonable estimate of body fat. The BMI's biggest weakness is that it doesn't consider individual factors such as bone or muscle mass. BMI may:
Underestimate body fat for older adults or other people with low muscle mass
Overestimate body fat for people who are very muscular and physically fit
It's quite common, especially for men, to fall into the "overweight" category if you happen to be stronger than average. If you're pretty strong but in good shape then pay no attention.
Dm:
