If you value your finances and would still like to keep food on the table from this moment going forward then don't do it.

If you want to complicate your life, finances, obtain unspeakable debt, and work your life away in hopes of making a profit once in a great while then go for it.

Leasing is a terrible idea regardless of comany your with. However, If you go to dart in Dallas beware of The BBQ sauce. How can you go somewhere that would lie like this to someone!

we would be "fed like kings". I'd really like to see what kingdom she's thinking about, because that would be a very depressing kingdom!! I got roasted chicken, a slice of Texas toast, and some nasty BBQ sauce

We focus on helping new drivers break into the industry so we really don't discuss the leasing or ownership side of the industry. Your best bet would probably be OOIDA's Website. That's what they do.

OOIDA:

Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association

Who They Are

OOIDA is an international trade association representing the interests of independent owner-operators and professional drivers on all issues that affect truckers. The over 150,000 members of OOIDA are men and women in all 50 states and Canada who collectively own and/or operate more than 240,000 individual heavy-duty trucks and small truck fleets.

Their Mission

The mission of OOIDA is to serve owner-operators, small fleets and professional truckers; to work for a business climate where truckers are treated equally and fairly; to promote highway safety and responsibility among all highway users; and to promote a better business climate and efficiency for all truck operators.

That BBQ sauce guy is legend. By far the most memorable post of my entire time here on TT.

I still remember that morning so well and I'll never forget. I was on US97 in OR heading home and as soon as I read it I called OS and we talked for an hour or two just laughing like crazy about it.
