Is 20 hours enough for a refresher course? It'll be 2 10 hour days next Saturday and Sunday. I haven't driven a class A tractor trailer since driving school in March 2016? THE COURSE IS 1 ON 1...
A refresher is what I'm looking into also. Whats the name of the company doing the refresher? Do they have any automatics?
Considering you have no class A experience, IMO 20 hours is light. Is the company that is hiring you going to road train you after completing the refresher course?
Most companies are looking for 80 hours on a refresher (or 1/2 of the usual required time for a full CDL course).
When I spoke with Schneider a year ago (since I've held a CDL for 8 years), they told me 80 hour minimum.

I was gonna pay for the refresher course out of pocket at a cdl school here in the Atlanta, GA area. The job in which I'm applying will hire students fresh out of cdl school and it's a local job that has you home every night for the most part. So although I graduated from cdl school a year ago I was gonna pay for a refresher course and let them train me on the job, I've done the type of work in which they're hiring for but only in a class b truck.
