I'm running 2pm to 2am. Ugh... but I'll make it up (sleep) because I don't deliver until noon. Sleep schedule is non existent, because it's always changing. But ya gotta make it work if you want to survive.

Just wanted to chime in as well. Night driving isn't so bad, in fact as I become more accustomed to it, I like it more. Don't have to worry about parking at the end of the day because most truck stops are emptying out when I finish. So I can push it harder some days cause i know I'll have a spot.
I do dry van , overall it's not too bad. I love that a lot of it is drop and hook , but we still have plenty of live loads.
I have found that by driving at night and going to places others try to avoid, I get better miles and more opportunities. Regardless, good luck on your search!
Dry Van:
A trailer or truck that that requires no special attention, such as refrigeration, that hauls regular palletted, boxed, or floor-loaded freight. The most common type of trailer in trucking.Drop And Hook:
Drop and hook means the driver will drop one trailer and hook to another one.
In order to speed up the pickup and delivery process a driver may be instructed to drop their empty trailer and hook to one that is already loaded, or drop their loaded trailer and hook to one that is already empty. That way the driver will not have to wait for a trailer to be loaded or unloaded.
