My favorite road music of all time is Bob Seger. Always has been. When I was 21 going to school for trucking I used to sit next to the Interstate every night and watch the trucks go by listening to Seger and just dying for my chance to get out there and do it. It was agonizing to have to wait and watch like that.
There is no starting school for me before Oct. 21st because I have to see Bob Seger on his farewell tour! Absolutely nothing can interfere with that! I just know that when the saxophone begins 'Turn the Page' I'm going to have crocodile tears rolling down my cheeks just like I did when I saw him in 2015 for the first time.

BUMP for recent thoughts
Anyway I have recently switched to Amazon Music and Garth Brooks is at the top of my list also. I’ve also been listening to the music from the Eddie and the Cruisers movies. Those have an excellent soundtrack. I will still listen to JUST ABOUT anything with some notable exceptions: I ABSOLUTELY will NOT listen to anything sad, religious, any lullabies or anything that reminds me of a tough time in my life. 2 tunes that fit that bill are The Good Stuff by Kenny Chesney and Oh My Darling Clementine. I absolutely can’t stand those 2 tunes.
The Good Stuff by Kenny Chesney was playing on the radio when a family friend drove me home from the hospice center that my father was in the night my father passed on.
Oh My Darling Clementine, my Mother would play that too much and every time I heard that tune it would make me bust out crying. I don’t know why but I ABSOLUTELY DESPISE that tune. It’s the ABSOLUTE WORST tune ever conceived. My life would be better if it never existed. Sorry if me and anyone here has a difference of opinion about this but I’m set in my ways and will never change them.
Basically ANYTHING that makes me cry like a little baby or get me emotional on that level I ABSOLUTELY will NEVER listen to and that’s a NO GO. I am a man, NOT a baby. I ABSOLUTELY DESPISE crying and gettin emotional. I don’t have a problem when other people do, I just don’t want it to happen to me. There is more to life than moping around all the time. I am someone that would rather bring HAPPINESS and PEACE to the world.

I am sitting here updating the forums I am subscribed to on here (My Diary is one of them) and I am listening to some good tunes on my phone and it got me thinking:
What kind of tunes yall like to listen to OTR? I mostly like stuff like CCR (Creedence Clearwater Revival), C.W. McCall, most 80s to 2000s country, I will listen to just about anything. Anything from George Strait to MC Hammer. I love a broad range of tunes. My favorite one I can't stop listening to is Lookin' Out My Back Door by CCR (Creedence Clearwater Revival). What are some of your favorites? Feel free to chime in on here.
Talk radio. I have an Amazon Echo Auto. I can use it to call or receive calls, stream just about any radio station in the country and it will play from my Sirius XM if I tell it too.
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
I mostly listen to pandora, outlaw country or Tony justice radio, when im not listening to an audiobook.
Music is great but try podcasts too!! NPR has some of the best ones, Fresh Air, Stuff You Should Know, The Moth There’s hundreds to choose from 😎😎
When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.
I found a app called radio garden that you can listen to radio stations all over the world. Search the App Store for it.
