William, I'm not sure how you feel about doing flat bed work, but I think someone like Maverick or TMC could probably get you home for at least 34 hours each weekend.
Many of these flat bed companies have formulated their approach to hauling freight into a regional approach. This allows them to fully utilize their drivers legal working hours and get them home to reset their 70 hour clock each week. It works pretty well. Although it's not fool proof, once a driver gets a feel for managing his loading and unloading times he can work within that system well enough to get home each weekend.
Usually refers to a driver hauling freight within one particular region of the country. You might be in the "Southeast Regional Division" or "Midwest Regional". Regional route drivers often get home on the weekends which is one of the main appeals for this type of route.
Can confirm what os says. I'm with maverick, just left okc this week. We bring in a lot of steel to the area, not dedicated but u would definitely get home.

Dedicated Route:
A driver or carrier who transports cargo between regular, prescribed routes. Normally it means a driver will be dedicated to working for one particular customer like Walmart or Home Depot and they will only haul freight for that customer. You'll often hear drivers say something like, "I'm on the Walmart dedicated account."
