I was wondering if there are truckers out there that basically gave up on home life and just stayed out on the road ? Staying in hotels , etc.

Ummmm. Rainey. She is the most infamous of us that lives out of her truck.

It is completely possible to live completely out of your truck. You can save a ton of money that way. You will need to have some kind of official address though. A close friend or relative that will allow you to use their address as your own.

Yes I live out of my truck. I do go home every couple of months to see mom and family, but I tend to stay in jacuzzi suites, get massages and facials and indulge. Lol

Plus, I was deeply in debt when I started and will be completely debt free by the end of the summer...which is two years from when I started. I don't think that is bad since I spoil myself on the road.

By I don't drink, smoke, gamble etc. So I justify it that way hahahha.

Most companies will let you take home time anywhere... Meaning visit San Diego or Florida...go hiking in the mountains...etc

I'm just about the same. I usually come to my parents house for home time, but now that i have got out of debt and saved more, I am starting to do different things. Like next month I am taking time off In Albuquerque for a concert. Literally the only bill I have is 104 a month for cell phone, so I am able to save 300+ a week. Planning to eventually get a house after a few years of doing this.
