Thanks for responding quickly & clearing up things me. Just spoke with Jeff Bruton & was completely caught off guard. I can’t switch cause they don’t go to FL at all. I told him that I thought Savannah was close enough but he was adamant about not being able to get me home. Oh well. All the best to you Icecold24K!
Ice ice baby, where are ya man? Haven't heard from you in a while. Hope everything is ok.

Just to clarify, are you saying they dont offer tanker if you live in FL?
How long was your specialized training for tanker? At Schneider it's 3 weeks and I hear it's pretty rigorous.
Ice and Splitter havent been around in awhile, so i will clarify.
No, Prime tanker does not take FL drivers. they drive a triangular route GA, NJ, IL....so if you live outside that area, they couldnt get you home.
Our tanker division does 30,000 team miles just like our other divisions. If you switch from one division to another, Prime requires 30 days with a team trainer. Im not not sure where the 15k miles came from.
and the comment about "i could run my 15k and still be on the list for a truck" is quite inaccurate and perpetuates the truck shortage myth.
Splitter was called 2 days later for a truck.

I’m at Sprimo now. Will look him up tomorrow I’m supposed to upgrade this week. There’s 85 people waiting for trucks. I’m guessing I can go out for my 15k TNT & still not miss my turn to get my truck. lol 😂 Are you driving a stick? Is it easier to control the surge in an automatic?
TNT:
Trainer-N-Trainee
Prime Inc has their own CDL training program and it's divided into two phases - PSD and TNT.
The PSD (Prime Student Driver) phase is where you'll get your permit and then go on the road for 10,000 miles with a trainer. When you come back you'll get your CDL license and enter the TNT phase.
The TNT phase is the second phase of training where you'll go on the road with an experienced driver for 30,000 miles of team driving. You'll receive 14¢ per mile ($700 per week guaranteed) during this phase. Once you're finished with TNT training you will be assigned a truck to run solo.
