You also have split sleeper berth rules as well. The 14 hour rule stinks. But it is what it is. It is that rule that really confines what you do. The 11/10 rule is not that far off from the old 10/8. It is the 14hr rule that makes you do everything at one time. If they ever rescinded it, life would be grand.
Sleeper Berth:
The portion of the tractor behind the seats which acts as the "living space" for the driver. It generally contains a bed (or bunk beds), cabinets, lights, temperature control knobs, and 12 volt plugs for power.
