Pretty good coverage. Still managed to fit in lots of bad apples like the guy facebooking and the many overpass smashes. But I guess you can't leave them out.

I know! I guess what would a trucking story be without wrecks, ya know?
Watching that makes me want to be back out on the road more and more..... youngest needs to grow up quicker so the wife and I can hit the road... lol
good story though.. Congrats Loren...
Gives the new guys and gals some in sight as to what to expect too.
Was he around before I joined? I'm drawing a blank to that name. But this is pretty sweet!
That was a nice little video. A look into the life Im about to embark on. Great stuff. Thanks for sharing that.
Who is the man ?
Blue Hills Trucker is !
WOW!! So thats what I have to look forward to? I hate to say it but that doesn't portray Truck Diving in a very positive light. Especially the hourly wage of $5 an hour,LOL. I suspect ABC was not showing this to persuade people to get into the Trucking industry.
But it is still good press for the industry. And has not discouraged me.
I just have to get the image of what he was eating out of my head,,LOL

as long as your wheels turn, you'll make money.... if you wanna run your a$$ off then you'll make some good miles...
as for the food, those 3 min meals aren't that bad... I would have a stack of them along with a cup of noodles for my emergency meals.... if your stuck at a shipper/receiver most of the time if you ask they will let you use the break room with a microwave, or if your able to get a with a company that allows one in your truck..... I invested in a 12V cooler (i didn't buy one from a truck stop, I got it on line... can't remember where though) so i could keep sandwich fixings and peanut butter goes a long way too... lol you'll find that it gets expensive to eat at dinners or truck stop food will look not so appetizing.... not saying this to discourage you, just some truth =D... another thing I did was make home meals when I was home, put it in seal able bowls and take it with me.. I'd get at-least 2-4 days of good dinners....
The customer who is shipping the freight. This is where the driver will pick up a load and then deliver it to the receiver or consignee.
