My wife asked me to get shot glasses, so I brought home about 20 the first year I was OTR. She ran out of room and told me to stop lol. (Her favorite is one from Kansas with Dorothy's shoes in the bottom.)
I have taken a lot of pictures too, though not so many now that I'm local.
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
Key rings from each state for my daughter. Tried collecting money for myself but that collection isn't doing that well so any hep would be greatly appreciated. 😂😂
Hey, thanks for sharing everyone! Giving me some new ideas to work with here. Hope more people decide to share what they collect. 😂
No I like trailers...trucks in general. I will use the photos at times as a visual guide to build HO scale trailers. There are a few in my photo gallery that I have built.
That's cool! I'll have to take a look. Any doubles rigs?
Refers to pulling two trailers at the same time, otherwise known as "pups" or "pup trailers" because they're only about 28 feet long. However there are some states that allow doubles that are each 48 feet in length.

Yes. Pup sets for Roadway, ABF, UPS, and Carolina. Some of the best kits and fully assembled models on the market are 28' wedge pups.

This is also my habit. I enjoy having the photos because they help me to remember so many of the things that I see, and they bring back to mind the memories that are stored in my memory bank. I often times post them here in the forum if I feel they will contribute to a discussion we are having, and I also use them in my personal blog.
Sometimes they are just memorable, or perhaps remarkable, things that I would like to recall. Like the Truck Stop Diner near Lebanon, TN that has 6,500 coffee cups on a series of shelves that encompass the dining area...
Or it might be a photo of the time while pre-tripping my truck, I was surprised to find what appeared to be a cold chisel stuck into one of my tires, yet the tire held up fine until I could get it into a repair facility...
Sometimes they are comical things that I have come across in my journeys like this outdoor weather station in Gardner, Colorado...
Or this uniquely named hot and spicy Barbecue sauce I spotted for sale in a Truck Stop one time...
