One time I was on a road trip to Albuquerque to see a buddy of mine. I was on I-76 in Colorado and listening to CW McCall's Wolf Creek Pass. Low and behold there was the exit sign for Wiggins. I instantly started looking around for chicken barns for some reason.

I thought I would share a cool experience today thanks to this career.
My son is finishing up his time on my truck. He really likes the Graphic Audio series: Smoke Jensen. The latest one he got involved Smoke taking a herd to Dodge City. It just so happens that my current load picked up in Dodge City (coincidence? )
As we crested the hill going into Dodge City I pointed out the enormous stock area. He was excited because he got to mix his story, a history lesson, and modern day into this trip. He could envision the old time cattle drives and Wyatt Earp maintaining the peace.
As we left the city though my son starts laughing. Once he finally relaxed he explained to his highly confused father that it waz funny to think that a few cowboys used to bring in hundreds of cattle and now we use hundreds of horses (horse power) to bring in a few head at a time.
Thought I would share with you all.
