Hey y'all!
Just wanted to let everyone know that I have started a new project.
I've started making YouTube videos about trucking! There's only a couple up for now, but I've got two more in the works while we're here at home.
The plan for channel is to have 3 topics.
1. Truck Talk: this will be your basic trucking videos with road footage, backing, and various other trucking related topics. These will be the most frequent videos going up. I'm not committed to a schedule right now, simply because I'm still learning how to edit and make the videos. But I'd like to do about 2-4 a week.
2. Table Time: I'm a huge foodie, so once per month when we go home, there will be a cooking video. That's one of the videos I'm working on now.
3. Top Tens: this will (hopefully) be a bimonthly video series where we do a top ten list on various topics. The first coming out will be "Top Ten Tips for Trainee Truckers". I'm pulling from my own experiences and tips I've gathered from Twitter peeps and Facebook groups. And this video is dedicated to all my lovely friends here at TT.
If you guys would like to watch the videos, please do! To find my channel search "GATS 2017 Ashley Loucks" on YouTube. For some reason, YouTube isn't directly sending people to my channel just searching my name. This video is footage of the show trucks at GATS. You should be able to get access to there channel from there.
*Warning: the second video "Store Escapades" has a couple of curse words in it. I wasn't able to edit them out simply because I didn't know how at the time! But just FYI, there are only a couple about 6 minutes in.*
Brett, if this isn't ok to post, please take this down.
But I hope everyone tunes in! Please bear with me as the videos are a bit rough right now. I'm only using a dash cam and a very simple editing program, but I'm slowly learning!
I just subscribed to ya.
I watched your first two vids. I left a comment on the 2nd one. You got some great talent there. Keep up the great work!
Hey its chickiemonster, you don't know me but you where starting trucking when I first joined, hadn't seen you in while and was wondering what became of you, will sub next time I get a chance to get on YouTube
You guys are AWESOME! I just checked my Creator Studio and saw the huge jump in views and subscriptions, so right on!
The Top Ten video is being exported as we speak so it should hopefully be uploaded today.
If Brett is cool with it, I'll post the link here because I think I could definitely benefit some rookies who are with us.
I'll go check it out and subscribe.
You can post a link here. You should post the link to your YouTube channel in your personal profile. It would also be nice to get a link to TruckingTruth from one or two of your video descriptions.
Well guys I have bad news.
We spent all day Saturday working on two videos, got them all edited up and ready to upload
Then the laptop bit the dust! So it looks like I lost both videos plus all the footage from the TT dedicated video. I still have the footage for the cooking video but i won't be able to get it up until we get a new laptop.
