Just finished my orientation week. Word of advice: absolutely everything I stressed about, from agility to physical to permit, to sim lab tests was no problem what's over...my stressing made it harder than it should have been. So be calm, relax and come with a whole lot of patience. It is a lot of fun when done with a positive attitude.

Thank you for the advice. Best of luck.
I was just posting this to see who is going to company sponsored training at prime on the 5th?
Brian, I am headed that way tomorrow. Start on the 5th.
A Company-Sponsored Training Program is a school that is owned and operated by a trucking company.
The schooling often requires little or no money up front. Instead of paying up-front tuition you will sign an agreement to work for the company for a specified amount of time after graduation, usually around a year, at a slightly lower rate of pay in order to pay for the training.
If you choose to quit working for the company before your year is up, they will normally require you to pay back a prorated amount of money for the schooling. The amount you pay back will be comparable to what you would have paid if you went to an independently owned school.
Company-sponsored training can be an excellent way to get your career underway if you can't afford the tuition up front for private schooling.
I won't be going to prime but I'll be leaving for KC for Swift on the 5th. They don't start until the 6th because of labor day. I had almost decided to go with Prime or I'd be starting on the 5 as well. I chose not to for a couple main reasons. The initial fee was you going to be more for me since I already have a class B so it'd cost more to transfer it to Missouri. The other is that Prime doesn't have any dedicated or regional for my area.
Best Wishes.
Usually refers to a driver hauling freight within one particular region of the country. You might be in the "Southeast Regional Division" or "Midwest Regional". Regional route drivers often get home on the weekends which is one of the main appeals for this type of route.
I'm currently sitting here under a load. Will be leaving sometime tomorrow, hopefully in the morning hours.
