All of the major carriers use a commercial version of Ez-Pass and other state specific toll payment systems. Scale-Pass is also used by most of the major carriers and works in conjunction with Weigh In Motion (WIM) type scales in states that utilize this technology. Many east coast states like PA and NJ require every truck to pull into the scale area.
Yeah pretty much all of the larger carriers have a transponder that works with both EZpass and Prepass at a minimum. Swift also has a system called Drivewyze that works with some of the weigh stations that don't use Prepass.
So yeah that is pretty much a moot point when looking at mega carriers.
Prime has EZ Pass, Prepass, and BestPass
When I was at major carrier CRST, the trucks were not equipped with any electronic scale bypass or toll paying devices. May be different now....?
Even my little 200 truck operation uses Prepass and Pikepass for the Kansas Turnpike. Pretty common.
Wolding uses EZ pass and Drivewyze. Although some trucks still have prepass based on where they run. Some trucks also have the Sun Pass for Florida if the driver lives there or pulls loads there frequently. Other than that get an advance to pay for tolls and submit receipts for reimbursement.

It's quite common, especially for men, to fall into the "overweight" category if you happen to be stronger than average. If you're pretty strong but in good shape then pay no attention.
CFI has Elite Pass. Prepass for weigh stations and all the toll systems.

CRST currently and unfortunately does not have EasyPass or PrePass. They NEED to get them though.

I just noticed Roehl list this as one of their benefits, and I do not recall seeing this on the other company's reviews here on the website. Is this pretty common for company drivers? Exclusive?
"EZ Pass (for electronic tolling) and Pre-Pass (for bypassing weigh stations)."
Thanks in advance
