I think I have heard of that but haven't tried it. Rain-X is great too.
Club soda and wipe with newspaper. Amazing..no streaks.
Yes, I agree use of the newspaper is excellent, does not streak. That's a very retro trick. Just make sure to read it first...LOL.
Per Brett, I am a big fan of Rain-X, it enables easier removal of the splattered protein from the windshield glass. I also use a razor blade paint scraper (HomeDepot, Lowes, Walmart, and Harbor Freight) to assist with the cleaning process, the type for removal of paint from windows.
Yap, dishwasher soap works well. Also have Rain-X but haven't used it yet.
Coffee filters and a mixture of vinegar/water is another life hack.
One word of caution about cleaning glass with razor blades. Be sure to wet the window before scraping with a blade. Doesn’t have to be soap, water will do, but scraping dry glass is asking for trouble. I was a cleaning company owner in a previous life. Trust me on this one!
I mix a little bit of windex with my washer fluid and that has always done good in the spring in summer. In winter i use straight washer fluid.

I fellow driver told me to try putting some dishwashing soap in my wiper fluid reservoir to help get the bugs off. I haven't tried it yet, but I did try it on my mirrors. Lately I've had to clean my mirrors at least once a day because of the rain and the humidity, and they still end up streaking. It gets so humid down in Alabama and surrounding states, my mirrors fog up and all the streaks show up. Well, I tried wiping them down with dish soap diluted in water and it made a huge difference! It didn't streak and I didn't have to reclean my mirrors after it rained yesterday! They're still crystal clear. How have I never heard of this trick before?
