There you are! I was about to post asking where the heck you've been! Did you have to attend to all the TTers you've been keeping in your dungeon?

Actually yeah. and i got stuck in the terminal for almost a week dealing with my DOT physical and sleep study. now im so sick i cant talk nor can i breathe with the stupid machine. im MORE exhausted than i have ever been after a week of the cpap.

on my way home now...and seriously only drive 140 miles and ready for a nap. :(

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

DOT:

Department Of Transportation

A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.

State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.

CPAP:

Constant Positive Airway Pressure

CPAP is a breathing assist device which is worn over the mouth or nose. It provides nighttime relief for individuals who suffer from Sleep Apnea.

That sucks. For some reason I thought you were already using a cpap. Hopefully you'll adjust to it quickly. My dad uses one and sleeps well with it.

Oh. Ugh. I sure hope I don't ever have to use one. It really seems unnecessary to have to get and use one if you don't have any symptoms.

They claim i had 31 interruptions per hour. it took me.forever to fall asleep and i was in a deep sleep dreaming i ripped the wires out then smacked the tech when he tried to help me. then the guy was waking me up in real.life telling me i stopped breathing so he put the machine on me.

hes lucky i only beat him in my dream lol.

i did find a neat trick though...i opemed a jar of Vicks vapor rub a d put it next to the air filter on the machine. it helped clear my congestion a little.
