They don't promote l/o on here. The site is geared to new drivers. New drivers have no business leasing a truck when they are still trying to master trip planning and logging.
I have run team, but I don't know anything about the expediter niche. If you decide to go that route you need to make sure you understand that model. It would be painful to be learning a new business while responsible for paying the bills on that business.

Don't become an LO. It's not profitable and you will wreck yourself financially if you do.
Expedited shipping is certainly a different niche. I wouldn't recommend LEASING an expediter truck.
Please check out information from OOIDA about information on how it works. You have to realize that truck ownership is akin to running and managing your own company in addition to driving and maintenance of the truck.
OOIDA is an international trade association representing the interests of independent owner-operators and professional drivers on all issues that affect truckers. The over 150,000 members of OOIDA are men and women in all 50 states and Canada who collectively own and/or operate more than 240,000 individual heavy-duty trucks and small truck fleets.
The mission of OOIDA is to serve owner-operators, small fleets and professional truckers; to work for a business climate where truckers are treated equally and fairly; to promote highway safety and responsibility among all highway users; and to promote a better business climate and efficiency for all truck operators.
