Not a photo op but I booked a load yesterday that pays 3.08 per mile for 1400+ miles and the best part ..... It delivers in the town where my two youngest will be for Christmas.

Snowboarding this morning at Whiteface Mountain in Wilmington, NY which is near the better known Lake Placid in the Adirondacks. This is the resort that hosted the Winter Olympics in 1980, the year the US beat the Russians in the most famous hockey game in history.

DAC:

Drive-A-Check Report

A truck drivers DAC report will contain detailed information about their job history of the last 10 years as a CDL driver (as required by the DOT).

It may also contain your criminal history, drug test results, DOT infractions and accident history. The program is strictly voluntary from a company standpoint, but most of the medium-to-large carriers will participate.

Most trucking companies use DAC reports as part of their hiring and background check process. It is extremely important that drivers verify that the information contained in it is correct, and have it fixed if it's not.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

Okay, I'm kind of curious. When you're snowboarding, what is your dog doing? Does he have his own gear and board? Seriously, this is something I've been wanting to know. I know he's your constant companion on many an adventure, but I've never quite figured out how you two are handling the snowboarding.

Maybe he's at home getting mad that you're out there enjoying the mountains without him. I've had a few dogs who would react that way.
