If it were me, I would wait until at least July. Some companies will go up to 9 months. It really depends on many factors. If you are really serious about this career, you won't mind doing your due diligence in preparing yourself. Personally, I do not see anything wrong with people who smoke, my stepson does (legally). But once you commit to this, don't even think about it at all. A random toke, on a home time can kill your career with a quickness.
We have some great information for you here:
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.
State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.
Danielsahn, I completely agree. I have absolutely no problem with it. I just know that it cannot be a part of this industry in the slightest and I am very serious about this industry. Brett, thank you for the links. That has been a big help and I will continue to do some research and take my time.
Thanks for taking the time to respond to my post. Take care, guys!!

I quit smoking marijuana back in Sept 2017 because I am interested in Trucking and I understand that those two things don't mix. I am on the straight and narrow and intend to stay that way. I don't even drink. Never have had a problem with drugs or alcohol. Just enjoyed some marijuana while on an extended stay in a legal state. I am currently looking into CDL sponsored training and have been researching some companies. I am very interested in Roehl but they do a hair follicle drug screen. Can anyone tell me how far back they test? Also, any comments about Roehl in general? Thanks for your time.
