If you fuel at Pilot/ Flying J, link your company fuel card to the app and use the app to fuel. This how I remember to log fueling. As soon as I pull to the pump and grab my phone, I log fuel. Then when I jump back in I log off duty and pull up. We have People Net. If I'm idle long enough it will switch me to on dury not driving. I can change that to what it needs. As other's said tape reminders everywhere. Right to the bottom of the QC may be a good spot. I use my phone alarm and notes as well and still mess up. Welcome to being a solo driver. No more hand holding. Good luck. Stay safe.

Do most companies have "fueling" as an option? Its probably because I'm local and report to same location as I started, but we only have Off Duty, Driving, and On Duty. Our people net automatically kicks us to "on duty" after 5 minutes or not moving, or just creeping. Also automatically kicks us on driving after a couple blocks. Only time i mess with my people net is to "arrive/depart" my stops, then going into another screen to do my pretrip, or post trip. curious if its that way at most companies, or just the way ours are set up.

Fuel stops are logged as "on duty." Then you put in the note what the purpose of the on duty time is - "Fuel stop."

Thanks for all the advice. I have a feeling there will be post its everywhere until I develop a routine. I do have the ability to edit but so many edits and I'll get a call from safety, which nobody wants. I just have to remember time is money!

I recommend you think of productivity as money, not time as money. Every trucker out here has the same amount of time as you, but many of them will not make as much money as you if you can be productive.
