There may be some tolls you have to do that with, but not most. They should have EZ Pass and other toll beacons that automatically pay the tolls as you go through. You should always have some cash on you just in case, but very little should come out of pocket for tolls.
Kansas, Oklahoma and FL do not use EZ Pass. At prime we used to pay these...usually $32 or so, then get refunded. we could also.get an advance on our fuel card and write a check at a truckstop before hand.
