Turtle. Thank you for the information about your first year. I too am considering a career change to trucking and am trying to learn as a much as I can before taking the leap. The details about your miles and pay is encouraging. I have been skeptical about company promises of "up to $60,000 your first year" which I interpreted as "yeah if you log 160,000 miles." I just joined Trucking Truth and will continue to learn as much as I can. BTW, for you and the other Prime drivers on here, I lived in Wheatland, Missouri as a kid (about 1978): about 20 miles from Urbana. I remember driving by Prime's headquarter when it was located there.
