BMI is a formula that uses weight and height to estimate body fat. For most people, BMI provides a reasonable estimate of body fat. The BMI's biggest weakness is that it doesn't consider individual factors such as bone or muscle mass. BMI may:
It's quite common, especially for men, to fall into the "overweight" category if you happen to be stronger than average. If you're pretty strong but in good shape then pay no attention.
A truck drivers DAC report will contain detailed information about their job history of the last 10 years as a CDL driver (as required by the DOT).
It may also contain your criminal history, drug test results, DOT infractions and accident history. The program is strictly voluntary from a company standpoint, but most of the medium-to-large carriers will participate.
Most trucking companies use DAC reports as part of their hiring and background check process. It is extremely important that drivers verify that the information contained in it is correct, and have it fixed if it's not.

You're right except for the baffle part. Baffles are bulkheads that have holes in them that are placed in non-food grade tankers to slow the liquid and help control the forward and backward liquid surge in the tank. However it must be noted that baffles do nothing to alleviate the side to side surge that happens while turning.

Ok folks, I've had a lot of people request that we build a glossary so people can become familiar with trucking industry terms and I'm working on it right now! I've just gotten started on it so the list is short but growing. Eventually I'm going to have terms like "CDL" or "Pre-Trip Inspection" link to entire pages full of content on the subject. But for now I'm just putting in terms and short definitions.
If anyone can think of any special features they'd like to see just let me know.
One cool thing I have is a search box at the top which "filters" the results. Give it a try - it's really great! Type in a few letters and watch how the list shows only the entries with those letters. Like type in "lo" and only the entries with "lo" in their name will show up which right now is "Logbook" and "Floating Gears". So you can find almost anything instantly by typing just a few letters.
I'll be working on this section continuously for months I'm sure. Some of the terms like "WIA" (Workforce Investment Act) or "CDL" are quite involved and will have extensive information on the topic.
I just like to report what I'm working on so people aren't sitting around debating how many naps I've taken today.
Have a look at the new trucker's glossary
Pre-trip Inspection:
A pre-trip inspection is a thorough inspection of the truck completed before driving for the first time each day.
Federal and state laws require that drivers inspect their vehicles. Federal and state inspectors also may inspect your vehicles. If they judge a vehicle to be unsafe, they will put it “out of service” until it is repaired.
CDL:
Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
HOS:
Hours Of Service
HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.OWI:
Operating While Intoxicated
