Keep that attitude you have and you will be able to succeed with whatever path you take in training for this career.
Do whatever it takes to accomplish this. Adapt to and overcome all problems and obstacles that arise. Even after you have your cdl and are making your deliveries all by yourself keep this mentality.
CDL:
Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
- Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
- Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
- Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
- Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.
Thank you. I will sure do my best with that. I'm getting very little support from those around me. I'm trying to get out of poverty and working mediocre jobs. It gives people a poverty mentality.

Never in my life have I wanted this so bad. In the last six weeks I have fallen in love with the truck driving industry. Before i hardly noticed a truck. Now om studying them, admiring thrm, analyzing them as they go by.
I've talked to some ornery people regarding my job searching but for the most part I love the people in this industry.
In a week or two I should no for sure if I'm doing this. In the meantime I'm studying for my cdl as there is slot to cover.
Anyone else ever experience this? I didn't have this feeling I'm college or any of my jobs I live had, and for the most part I've liked most of the jobs I've had over the years.
This is different. This is much different and if I decide to do this nothing will stop me as I'm determine. Believe me there is alot coming against me to do this. This could be one the best decisions I ever make in my life. It most certainly could be one of the most important.

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.
