Man, that's fantastic!

First, congrats on landing the new gig. You've obviously earned it and deserve it.

Second, now you'll have the option of putting middle schoolers back on the bus and sending them home! How sweet is that!

Third, this would be a huge opportunity for us to help incoming drivers be better prepared for Paid CDL Training Programs. I think we should put together something on the website for you. I'm not even sure what just yet. Could be articles, could be videos - who knows? We'll have to set up something for ya.

Very cool, man. This is really good for you, and really great for incoming students.

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

Legendary Gratz Errol on the new job. If I am ever in Olive Branch or the Memphis area on a reset, I'll make sure to contact ya on here so I can buy ya lunch one day. With you going to that Academy as an instructor those students goin through there will have some legendary sage advice form one of the best of the business. I look forward to meetin ya one day. Thanks for all the help you have given us all especially me. Don't be a stranger around here and make sure you tell your students about this site and make them use the High Road to study for their permit tests. 😁

Congrats Errol. I was hoping to maybe visit with you when I get to Memphis, now it looks like you will be teaching me even more. Not sure when I will be there but probably around April or May.
