Trying to find out any information on this company. i was applying to different companies and this company contacted me back. I was interested in the company, never gave my ss number to them but did give my license number. I worried it is a scam and what they could do with this information. also sharing this info for any one else in the future. I looked at website but can find a address for them all it says is Atlanta,Georgia. also the only phone number is for the recruiting line. I do have the contact number for the person i talked to and it is a working phone number.

I have never heard of these folks. I did a quick search. Nothing shows an actual street address but I found a yelp placement for them in downtown atlanta. It shows the corner of peachtree and edgewood. That is all office buildings in that area. I found their website lemycofreight.com and looked through it. My opinion is these guys are new and looks like maybe pulling freight from national carriers. It is hard to tell. But I can guarantee they don’t have a truck terminal where yelp shows them. I’ll do some more digging when I get time. Curious.

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

I found a street address they have registered to them. It is 3525 Pidemont Street NE, Atlanta Ga. That is the address for the Piedmont Center. It’s a large office space only center downtown.

Dm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

I wonder if maybe they're just a freight broker then, for owner ops maybe?

Thank you so much. I kind thought they might be freight brokers too. It so scary these days to give any info out.
