I understand NE’s position. Do I condone it? Negative. It’s just the hubris of youth & intelligence. I know cause I was exactly like that when I was younger. Yes I was fairly intelligent & when I started making decent cash, I started feeding that pride & ego, rather than planning for down the road. Then family happened, then divorce happened, then child support, then more curve balls from this wonderful life...

Had I planned & saved? I’d be planning my retirement, I’d have traveled to Spain, Kenya, Sweden, Canada, India... I’ve been invited to visit all those places & have only been to 2 of them.

Sure it’s fun to game the system to feed our fear of responsibility. At the end of the day, every time we say F it, all were really saying is F me. Hopefully he read (with an open mind) all the constructive criticism that was dished out here & try to implement the sage advice in his day to day life.
