Thanks. It would be nice if all the major trucking companies would raise their freight costs to RI. When consumers feel the pinch they might take action against the state government.
RI is so easy to bypass. I'm betting they'll lose lots of ifta $ when through trucks go around the state.

When the truckers won't go thru the state anymore taxpayers will have to pay for those gantries.

Today and tomorrow the RI DOT is putting up the toll gantries for commercial vehicles. As of Monday, the $20 toll will be in effect. Just figured I'd let y'all know.

State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.
