This is a link to a Stitcher podcast of an interview with a million mile trucker. The guy is a household goods mover, but has some observations about truck driving that applies to regular OTR drivers too. (Hint: you ride so high, it's easy to look down into the four wheelers around you!) This is from an NPR Fresh Air Terry Gross program.

I read Finn Murphy ' s book shortly after it was published. Interesting read, but I don't think I could hack the household goods gig.
