Thanks Red for your enthusiasm. Its been awhile since I read this... And here I am 3 years later... A member of Primes Driver Advisory Board that meets with upper management to improve driver experiences... A successful Youtuber with a majority of male viewers, A respected trainer... And someone who is recognized by the owner of Prime. They guy has literally tens of thousands of employees and he knows my name. And its only been 6 years that I have been there.

Ohhhh yeah... Sexism has held me back.

Lucky me get to talk with you directly!!dancing-banana.gif

I must confess, not only have I stalked you in here (how I found the thread), but I stalk you on YouTube.

You are such an amazing person. I love how you take your success, your failures and give of yourself to others.

My fave so far is the flashlight and the hammer. I am so buying a huge, heavy flashlight. I got 5 hammers, that’ll do.

I can completely see from your blog entries, posts and videos why Prime would put you on the advisory board.

As I start my own journey I feel so lucky to have found the treasure trove you put out there.

You-Laura-Anne, those two just talked me off a ledge…

This girl (me) is very very lucky.

So THANK YOU. <3 Pardon me if I gush. I’ve been poking around this forum awhile now.

You are a TREASURE.

Off to YouTube I go! —That’d be yours, not “angry-bitter-trucker-dude”

On a serious note. I meant every word in the comment above tho. 👍

DV and Child Abuse are one of the closest causes to my heart.

It is difficult to talk about, scary for an outsider to get involved. For cops those are the most dangerous calls they make. Not bank robbers, not axe murderers. But DV.

Few companies touch it, and I understand why. It is so easy to make a wrong statement, to come up with policies that perhaps don’t work the best, even though their heart is in the right place.

I’ve worked at some good, solid companies that treat their employees well. All had employee hotlines and all kinds of resources.

None touched this subject. I have never even heard of any that have.

So with that—I am truly impressed with what Prime is doing here. They are ending the silence. They are engaging their employees.

Kudos to them and I hope more will follow.

Nina aka Lil’RedRidinghood.

My real name’s easier to type isn’t it. 😂
