You should have no problem. Three years as a local driver is a strong level of experience. Now, if you are thinking of going OTR you may hit a few snags, but local jobs should be more than happy to sign you up at any time.
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
I would secure the job before the move.

I’ve been driving for the past four years and for the past 3 years I’ve been a local driver in Alabama but my family and I are moving to Georgia this summer.
